Whenever I listen to Lana Del Rey, I find that her songs are unique, and she has a peculiar style of singing—soft, emotional, sentimental, and slow, encompassing everything about love. There were times when Lana Del Rey would heal all the broken hearts, and there are times when Lana Del Rey would give a vibe to a monotonous world, where you can just sit beside a restaurant or site beside the beach, listen to her songs, and understand the meaning of life. Lana Del Rey is an exceptional artist.
It’s always all about Lana Del Rey’s singing style; people say it’s all about emotion, and it’s true—Lana Del Rey cries out her emotions through her songs, and she is exceptionally good at it. There are also other artists like Billie Eilish who convey emotions in depth, but I find no songs that come close to Lana Del Rey’s style, as she has a special way of conveying songs that easily resonate with the listener’s pain in life.
However, I would like to share some of my personal favorites of Lana Del Rey. Most of her songs are like a dream and take me to a trance of unheard worlds. It’s an unexplained emotion that my heart wants to convey, and her songs fulfill everything.
California
After a long time, I heard a song from Lana Del Rey that I liked again. After listening to this song, I feel like California is calling. Oh, how sweetly Lana Del Rey says “California” in the song. This could easily be one of the best Lana Del Rey songs. The melody after “I’ll pick you up” is one of the best things one could hear in the world. The song “California” perfectly showcases Lana Del Rey’s style.
Also, I really love it when Lana Del Rey says, “I’ll throw a party…” Her songs definitely give a new kind of pleasure to the listener.
Black Beauty
The only thing I love about this song is when Lana Del Rey says, “Oh, what can I do?” Maybe it is the time of the year when I love listening to Lana Del Rey again. And perhaps the style of singing in this song is everything one would need to hear from Lana Del Rey. The chorus of the song is a melody that sways through your heart and beyond.
Off To The Races
This could be everyone’s favorite. It’s one of Lana Del Rey’s older songs, highlighting the prime era of Lana Del Rey. Her baby-like voice in this song and playful style of singing must have captured the hearts of many. One of the best parts of the song is when Lana Del Rey says, “Scarlet, Starlet.”
Pretty when you cry
There was a time when this song played on a loop, probably during the days of a broken heart. The most beautiful moment of the song starts after 2:38. “Pretty When You Cry” is easily the all-time favorite Lana Del Rey song.
